Late 60's was the era. A time when Commodities
business in India was confined to the ambit of a few
regional players, operating out of “Mandis” in
an unorganized fashion.
Late Shri Kunvarjibhai Roopsibhai Thakkar, a second
generation entrepreneur from the Kunvarji Family had a
vision. A vision to build an enterprise, strongly embedded
to the eternal values – Timeliness, Trust and
Transparency.
Thus came into existence, the “Kunvarji” brand
which over the years has grown to become one of India's
leading brokerage Houses. Today, “Kunvarji” is
miles ahead of just being a Brokerage House – A
professionally managed Financial Services Conglomerate, Pan
India.
“Kunvarji”: In The Hands of Third Generation
With the passing away of Shri Kunvarjibhai Roopsibhai
Thakkar, the Founder icon of “Kunvarji”, in
1993, the entire responsibility of the family business fell
on the young shoulders of Nayan Kunvarji Thakkar, the elder
of the Kunvarji sons.
When shoved into such a state of utter helplessness, his
mother Jashumatiben came to the fore to extend all moral and
emotional support to her elder son – Nayan to tread
the path, ardently following his father's business ethics
and mannerisms.
Seeing his brother toil hard, all by himself, a sense of
responsibility grew in Chetan Kunvarji Thakkar who then was
pursing his commerce graduation. Thus began the saga of
Kunvarji Brothers… |
